We have this magnificent Victorian mid-18th-century bow fronted mahogany chest of drawers for sale. This piece has been renovated to the highest standard with a new design. This piece is one of a kind and is never to be created again.

At Annie’s Furniture Art, we love to find interesting old furniture and transform it into contemporary twenty-first-century furniture art, without losing its original style and purpose. These pieces were made to last and have a classic shape and design that never goes out of fashion.

This particular one was taken out of a Welsh Castle. It is incredibly grand with its lovely bow front shape and pillars on either side. It comprises of a shallow frieze drawer over two short and three long. The six drawers slide easily and are in very good condition. The original handles were reused.

The imagery we have used on this is by Cole & Son called Verdure Tapestry. The design was taken from the Flemish tradition of vast tapestry-weaving, Verdure Tapestry is inspired by a 17th century work that is currently displayed within the King’s Presence Chamber of Kensington Palace.

The measurements of this piece are as follows - 134cm high, 123cm wide and 60cm deep.

Please contact me with any questions you may have. You are also welcome to view this piece in my workshop in Somerset by appointment only.
